Live from Big Local Connects
Our end of year bonus podcast looks back at our biggest event of 2018
On 29 and 30 June 2018, 450 people from across Big Local gathered for our first national event. It was a weekend packed with learning, networking and Big Local areas telling their stories in their own words. This podcast covers ‘Brombies’ – what else do you call brummy zombies? – our pop-up museum, checks in with our young ‘Roving reporters’ from Heston West and culminates in a rousing performance from the poet Tony Walsh on the passion, motivation and dedication of volunteers across Big Local.
