Feature in our new Big Local film!

At this year’s Connects, we’ll be launching a new film celebrating your achievements since the start of the Big Local programme. We’d love to include as many Big Local areas as possible – so we’re asking you to send us your favourite moments and memories to be featured!

What will the video be about?

After more than a decade of Big Local, we want to showcase some of your incredible achievements over the years.

The video will explore the ambitions, plans, projects and change created by partnerships up and down the country, in celebration of the people and communities who have delivered Big Local.

Here’s a sneak peak of some of the footage we’ve captured so far…

What kind of content can we submit?

We’re asking Big Local areas to submit up to three pieces of content, which show the progress you’ve made, your favourite moments, or your key achievements since the start of the programme.

These can be photos and/or videos, of a maximum of two minutes. For example:

• A photo of your partnership or community space at the beginning of the programme.
• A video clip from one of your most memorable events.
• A video interview with a partnership member, sharing the impact your Big Local has made since the beginning of the programme.

You can share whatever you think represents your Big Local journey best, whether that’s three photos of special moments or just one video of a partnership member talking about the progress you’ve made.

As a partnership, please agree the content you want to submit before choosing one person to fill out the form, so we don’t get duplication.

How do we submit our content?

Consent

Don’t forget – you need to make sure you have the right consent for the content you share with us. That means everyone who appears has given their permission for you to photograph or film them, and for you to share that content with us, for us to use in the film, at Connects and on Local Trust’s channels. We provide a consent form for you to sign when you submit your content.
