Read our response to a call for evidence from the House of Lords Committee on Citizenship and Civic Engagement, which ran until September 2017. We present our experience of the Big Local Programme as a radical alternative model of fostering active and lasting civic engagement, by putting power and trust directly in the hands of communities.
