Right to Regenerate: Reform of the Right to Contest
Submission to open consultation on the Right to Regenerate: reform of the Right to Contest
In March, Local Trust submitted a response to the government’s open consultation on its proposals for a new Right to Regenerate. The proposal is designed to simplify the methods through which local authorities can be forced to place disused and derelict land on the market.
Our submission is based on responses to a survey sent to workers, residents and volunteers across the Big Local programme.
