Building on the previous literature review exploring community-led infrastructure (CLI), this briefing takes it a step further by exploring what CLI looks like on the ground, how it is supported and its role in responding to crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing on findings from across the 26 study areas, and learning from other recent community-based research, we also reflect on how recent experiences might inform the future development of CLI.

Further briefings, which will share early findings and learn from others exploring similar questions, will be published through 2020 and 2021.
