Speedy Support Sessions: Fundraising

Do you need advice on how to develop a fundraising strategy or ideas about which grant funding opportunities to pursue?

Local Trust is offering online surgery discussions with experts from Stir to Action for Big Local areas. Big Local partnerships can book a 45-minute one-to-one call with an advisor to discuss questions or issues related to fundraising. These informal conversations provide an opportunity to get brief advice or guidance tailored to your needs. 

The surgeries are particularly useful for areas considering, or in the early stages of planning, funding opportunities beyond Big Local. They are also valuable for areas with existing experience in external funding and bid writing, offering a chance to get a second opinion or additional insights. 

These surgery sessions will take place on 30 January 2025, with slots available throughout the day. The first session starts at 9:00 am, and the last at 4:00 pm. Multiple participants from your area are welcome to join the call. There are 8 available slots, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. 

When you sign up, you will be able to choose from the following times. You may book only one slot, and bookings close 7 days before the selected time: 

• 9:00–9:45 am 

• 10:00–10:45 am 

• 11:00–11:45 am 

• 12:00–12:45 pm 

• 1:00–1:45 pm 

• 2:00–2:45 pm 

• 3:00–3:45 pm 

• 4:00–4:45 pm
