This guidance aimed at anyone with intermediate digital skills, looking to build their confidence. To benefit from this guidance you should already be comfortable using a computer or similar device and be able to connect yourself to the internet. If you’re not quite there yet we’d recommend starting with our just getting going guidance.
Here are our top tips and tools to work remotely with your Big Local team.
After identifying common challenges faced by Big Local partnerships, we’ve put together a few suggestions about appropriate tech tools that could help.
The majority of these tools are free and come with comprehensive instructions. There’s usually also bespoke support available from the providers that you can pay for if you need it.
The digital toolkit offers some quick and easy tech interventions you and your partnership can make, at low cost and high impact.
Our intermediate Zoom training with digital educators Act Build Change runs through how to set up and host virtual events on Zoom. You can find our recording of ‘Getting great at online facilitation’ here on Local Trusts Workplace. Don’t forget to check out our ultimate Zoom guidance here.
We’ve partnered up with the Good Things Foundation who have clear and accessible training to enable you to progress with your digital journey. Their program Make It Click features free courses, tools and templates. You’ll discover new tools, build on your already existing skills and move forward positively with your work for your Big Local partnership.
