Delivering inclusive community initiatives with Happy Smiles Training

Do you want to ensure that your community venture is accessible to the whole community? Are you looking for ways to create a more inclusive and resilient community?

Join Happy Smiles for a day of training designed to empower individuals with the skills and knowledge to create inclusive and accessible environments, and to foster positive relationships between diverse groups of people.  

The training will cover a wide range of topics including  

• disability awareness  

• accessibility for all 

• inclusive language and  

• wellbeing 

This training will be delivered by Happy Smiles who believe that by working together, we can create a more inclusive society where everyone is valued and celebrated. Who is this event open to? 

This event is open to any Big Local areas that was or will be active in the programme in 2025.  It is for partnership members, and volunteers and workers from projects within Big Local areas, so we are expanding this event to include key local organisations funded by the Big Local partnership.

Will you cover travel and expenses?

Yes, Local Trust will be funding travel, accommodation, expenses and for volunteers, any caring costs to allow people to attend.
