Supercharge your Big Local Plan and access bespoke fundraising support for your partnership.

As we celebrate almost six months of Make it Happen – our new and improved package of support for Big Local partnerships – we’re excited to be launching two brand new partner offers.

Each one has been designed to target specific challenges areas have told us they’re facing, particularly as we look ahead to the end of the Big Local programme and beyond.

Both new offers sit under power-up your partnership, which covers support to build confidence and capacity around core skills including money, planning and leadership.

Reflect | Recharge

The first of our new offers is Reflect | Recharge – a unique support offer which gives you the opportunity to supercharge your Big Local Plan by taking part in a series of reflective and action-orientated sessions.

Through four sessions, expertly facilitated by the organisation Just Ideas, you’ll have space to celebrate your achievements, identify your strengths, and explore challenges and support options.

At the end of the support offer, your partnership will own a six-month action plan that maps the steps you need to take to deliver your Big Local Plan.

It has been great focusing on what we want and thinking about solutions – with the partnership being able to say what we want.

Fundraising and income generation

As partnerships approach the end of their Big Local funding, many are looking at financial sustainability for their legacy plans. This could be through identifying sources of funding or income, or by increasing their skills and knowledge in fundraising, bid writing or in securing commissions to deliver services.

Other areas may also be looking for matched funding to deliver a key project as part of their Big Local Plan.

Our partners Stir to Action can support you with all of this and will work with Big Local partnerships for up to five days on their fundraising and income generation needs as part of this new offer.
